Default Simple Question.

Is there a way to refresh the db without shutting the world down and bringing it back up?

I've been editing zones from outside the game, done this to about 20+ zones now, and tonight I had a major issue so I was just curious if there was a way to repop a zone with the updated db without taking down the server.

Sorry a bit of a newb at GM commands but great at editing db's.

It depends on how you are editing the zone, but I'm almost positive all that needs to happen is a zone shutdown. Doors and objects can be placed and as long as the zone is not static, just zone out, allow the zone to shut down and then re-enter that zone and you will see the changes. (This is provided no one else is in that zone.) If the zone is static then zone out and use a #zoneshutdown <shortname> then re-enter the zone. I am almost positive changes to the actual zone table are effected by this as well.
