i got probleme playing eq with directx8 i was always missing 3D device. i have the last drivers for my 3DFx installed and i read all the post on this server and everquest.com that talks about this probleme but i found nothing. i tried many solution but it still not work so i thought i should be able to play with a lower version of directX has i was doing a long time ago while i was playing "eqlive".
i unstall Directx8 and put directx7.0 insted
But now i got an error that tells me graphics dll not found...
can anyone give me a link to download them or make a package for me?
or should i reinstall direct x7 or something...
my configuration is
win 98 2nd edition
compac
graphic card: maxi gamer 3D (3dfx voodoo 1)

may be i should keep directx8 but if it's so please give me thosen fucking 3Ddevice or just explain me what it is so i can search on the net. i should be right saying that it's device cab that i'm missing but like i dont even understand what it is in informatic it does not help me
PS: i manage to play with another computer(it was only 1 minutes and then i got disconnected) on someone's server and your emu is greaaaaaatttttttttt but i want to play at home . thanks for your great job and your help.
on the other computeur i tried i still have that crashing to desktop probleme after creating character on the server i created on eqemu i do not have this when i connect myself to another poeple server what should i do
