Lost Loginserver Password

A number of months ago I was living with a fellow and he took an interest in the game and ended up rolling a toon. I twinked him out pretty well, but soon after he lost interest. I contacted him to try and get him to return my gear, but he seems to have forgotten his login server password. He managed to recover his eqemu password, but there is no password recovery for lost login server passwords. I'm hoping we can resolve this issue without his help (because he sometimes takes a while to respond to me) but he and I are willing to do whatever is necessary with regards to the corresponding email (or what have you) to make this happen. I'd just like to see what is absolutely necessary before I try and get in touch with him again.

I believe his login server account name was "u8aturd" (might be "u8aterd") and his toon was a halfling cleric named Blammo. I'm not sure what the email address attached to the account is but I could get it from him easily enough.

Please just let me know what we have to do; there is no rush. Thanks!

Id like some help please with this too, last night I changed my login server passwords and now nothing I type in works.

It is a recurrent issue. I have had 2 LS accounts locked because of that for years. I wish our forum account could be used to change the passwords of our login server accounts, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The only way to recover a login server parssword seems to be "ask Rogean".

Because I am a polite guy, I never bothered him, but it seems to be the solution. There must be a security reason for this.
