Default Cannot see world after login

I was using the wiki for Windows server dated 3/28/2010. Of course once I went through the install, I noticed it was very out dated. I am using all the software builds noted in the wiki steps Perl 5.1, Mysql 5.0.85, etc.

1. I am running on Server 2003 fully patched, etc. I am using the minilogin and the latest server-bots and DBs, etc.
2. when I run ipconfig, my IP address shows as 70.234.***.*** using DSL connection.... in \etc hosts I see 127.0.0.1 localhost
3. I added the 70.234.***.***:5998 per another thread to hosts.
4. startserver.bat seems to load everthing and I do not see errors within the cmd prompt.

#1 - the guide mentions a bunch of folders being created under eqemu \build, \quests, etc...actually some are created when you unzip the server-bots but based upon some other posts, I might be missing some folders.

#2 - What port should I be using for SoF? (yes never connected to EQ and never patched.)

#3 - What is SQL command to change the IP address for my account? In the wiki guide it mentions assigning 127.0.0.1 but should I be using 70.234.***.***?

#4 - please let me know ANY files or pics I need to post.

Thanks in advance...
