just installed eq titanium and having issues getting it to run

any help here would be greatly appreciated.
my problem is, when i click the shortcut to run eq it opens, screen goes black and then just closes, with absolutely no luck running eq
tried numerous fixes listed on forums and no luck so any suggestions please
