Default Can not connect to server

Good day, I seem to be having a little issue.
I had set up EQ for the private server on both my computers (Which are on Windows XP).
And on the first after set up, I could play with ease, however on my primary computer. I am capable of logging in my to account, and make it to the server list.
This is where the problem commences.
When I select my server, and press Play, it freezes and I am incapable of playing.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Or am I forever doomed to a single computer? XD

You may not have your server port-forwarded, and if that's not the issue you may want to check the IP limit you have set in the rule_values table.

Oh shucks, so that means I can't play with family?
My mom adored this game when it came out, and I was pretty much raised on it so we wanted to play the game together. ;_;
I read that rule, but I didn't think it would apply to two completely seperate computers.
I'm gonna look at the Wikia again see if there is anything about server port-forwarding.
I never even thought of that.

Yeah it would if they were on the same IP, and yeah, try looking at your router and going to Google and checking how to port-forward on your router.

Well I tried to port-forward my account and it didn't work.
And I got access to the servers with more then a single account and that stiff doesn't work.
It keeps getting stuck on the select server page. :(

Is this a server you setup locally or one of the servers listed on the public login server?
