Default hotzones
hey

was hoping to locate a list of current hot zones and suggest we have a link to a hot zone page

Hot zones are not something that EQEmu deals with. EQEmu is for discussing overall EQEmu related stuff, but hot zones are something that is server-specific. EQEmu has no control over which servers set hot zones or which zones they set them for. You would need to ask about that on the forums for the server you are playing on, such as PEQ forums or whatever.
