Default No zones / SQL zones = NULL

My server is up and running locally. I found I could not zone. I gave myself GM authority and tried to zone using #zone but was given the message that the zone doesn't exits. I opened up heidi sql to check the table and found that where the zone files are listed they are all listed as NULL. How do I go about getting the proper zone maps populated in the database?

Edited as resolved: I did rebuild to the latest peq with the same issue. However, after some time I found that there were two things causing me to not zone:
1) Glooming Deep cannot be zoned out of immediately (I kinda thought this might be the case)
2) The #zone I was using had the incorrect syntax.

Thanks for taking the time to assist. As I move forward through technical difficulties, I'll keep my eye out for others experiencing issues that I've already worked through (which have been plentiful even now, and I'm only 3 days into it).

If you just started I'd drop the database and source it again, paying attention to any errors during the process.
