Default Help with Server Creation?

I did everything it said, and everything pretty much worked. However, when I went to the prompt and typed source db.sql, the first 10 or so lines were fine, then it started scrolling errors about not being able to open two different files. When I first tried it, it worked fine, I think. Also, it shows my server on the screen, but it remains locked. When source db.sql worked, I still remember it being locked. Any suggestions?

What is going wrong is that you have a previously made database that is being duplicated by the new one. To fix this go in to "C:/mysql/data/eq" and then delete everything in there and then update your database. Also, the reason why your server is locked is if your zone files aren't up. Or if they are, they are wrong. Try using "127.0.0.1" or "localhost" on a MiniLogin account or the server's IP adress if you are logging onto someone else's server. Remember to boot up "boot5zones.bat" or your server will remain locked.

Hope This Helps!!!

Thanks a lot, that helped. My source db.sql problem is fixed and there are absolutely no errors now. However, my server remains locked. You mentioned something about the zone files -- if this is my problem, how do I fix it?

Default Wait, I see another problem, too ...

After running boot5zones.bat, the 5th window that states `entering sleep mode` also says every minute or so as follows;

WorldServer connect: Connecting to the server failed. Error: 10061.

So, this would imply that there is another error after all, hehe.

Could you explain a minilogin thing? I've seen it mentioned, but first of all, I don't get how it differs from doing it regularly, and the readme doesn't explain how to set it up good enough.

Are you:

a. Logging onto someone else's server
b. Hosting a local server
c. Just hosting a server on your computer that is meant for 1 player?

So you are planning on having up to 8 people... list your system specs and if you have AIM, list your AIM name here so we can chat in a better way.
