Default EQHOST.TXT cannot be found
every time i try to log on a message comes up saying that eqhost.txt does not exist in eq dir but it does and i dunno what the hell to do about it.

Just to make sure, go to http://www.eqemu.net/eqhost.txt go to File and Save As, save it in your EQ directory that you use for the emu. Then try it.

Default i got it figured out
it wasnt workin cuz i didnt have a recent enough patch, but after i did the full patch i still couldnt play cuz of the 1017 error, but i think thats cuz the patch is too new, so i gotta wait for the new eqemu

Even the 4.2 release won't be able to handle the newest patch. Get onto the #eqemu irc channel and ask for an eqfix
