Hello,

Yesterday I noticed this site. I am a hardcore EQ fan and have always been curious how it would be like to run a server by myself, adjusting all kinds of settings. And there it was... EQEMU ; ) Too bad I didnt notice this great project earlier.

I immediately started DLing the files and tried to get the server working. I succeeded in walking around in my own Freeport and gonna explore the Emu possibilities some more today.

I want to thank all who made EQEMU possible and everybody who added those great helpful posts on the forum.

sup dazlpro. Yeah this is a good emu. its not finished yet though. the developers are working hard. they had to work there ass's off to get where were at today. there are alot of possibilites with this emu that i can tell you about. last time i checked they had looting working on the corpses. not sure if it still works though. there are alot of ofther things possible still to. but you might want to learn a little about mysql database's first if you want to get far. other then that i can garante that there is going to be a bright future for EQEmu. as the developers have already shown us. hope you have fun with the emu. l8er.
