WTF!! Why can't I connect to Patch SERVER!!!

OK, I'm on my friends comp, and EQemu works on my comp, I did all the same things on his but I cannot connect to the path server WTF, I can do the whole "eqgame.exe runme" but It says that "you need to re-run the patch..." bull Sh**, I downloaded the mdac_typ and stuff but nothing works!!!!!!!!! BLAH HELP!!!!! PLZ MY FRIEND WANTS TO PLAY THIS!!!!![/quote]

I cannot connect too.
It just says every time: Cannot connect to patch server.
I did all the steps from the FAQ but it isnt working.

Search the forums for that. 1017 has like 2000 posts on it lol. Thing that got it working for me was:

1. Do a thorough file check using EverQuest.exe (EQLive Patcher)
2. Do another file check, make sure it didn't miss anything.
3. Run patcher.exe (EQEmu Patcher) and let it download everything.

Nope, still didnt work, I re-installed all EQ, ran the complete file check three times, installed EQemu and the mdc_typ thing, patch couldnt connect, tried the eqgame.exe patchme, got to servers but it said I need to re-run the update patch, did that, still cannot connect, three simple words, What The FUC*?. HELP!

I too, am having this problem, I use EQlive patch (Live game patch)
Then Eqemu patcher, and it says "Missing file" on everything, I then try to log-in using my Eqemu account, says I'm not registered.
I log in using my normal EQ account, and apparently, it didn't download any files, not even eqhost.txt.

Zig, I had the same problem as you and it was driving me insane.
Go in and uninstall the patch through the control panel. When that's done. Look in your program files, and I'll bet you have an eqemu folder out there. Delete that one. Now go back into the EQ folders and run the patch setup, it will start again and this time give you the option to put the file into the EQ folder (use browse). Now you should have the patch again on the desktop. Make sure you check the box "Run EQ" that should work for you. Let me know.
