Need some help with running the EQ patch please

Hey all. Whenever I try to run the Everquest patch process, it completes about halfway and then the below message appears and the patch no longer runs. Can anyone please help me out on how to fix this? Thank you.

First check for a copy of the patcher still running, and kill all the patcher processes.

Now find the EQemu patcher exe and make sure it is in the same directory as your Everquest files. If not remove the patcher, and reinstall it in the proper directory. Now patch Everquest to EQ live by running everquest.exe Do not login, just close it once it has patched. Now start the EQEmu patcher, and UNcheck "run EQ" If all worked well, close the patcher, and start EQ using EQW 2.32 or "eqgame.exe patchme" and log into the EQEmu servers.
