firstly hello to all, i was wondering if there is a way to make a server with the orginal everquest cd and expanision up to plane of powers (ie no patches downloaded from sony)

You don't even need everquest installed to "make" a server. but No you cannot play eq without patching with live everquest. And right now live everquest is incompatible

You couldnt do that because the cd's have a different version of eq on them, meaning not everyone would be getting the same eq even tho it is a fresh instal.

but you could take one old version of eq and patch everyone to it. everyone has patchers.. winters roar.. scorp2k.. whatever khans server is called..
