Default Help

hello, I'm back, i'v ebeen gone for 3 years or so, and now I venture my way back to EQemu. anyway,

I have a problem, each time I try to log in, all it does is say logging into server, and stays like that for a while, I tryed letting it go for 45 mins and still nothing. I'm curious of what could be causing this problem. today I just installed all my cd's and then did a complete file check, and I hope that isn't the cause. the version it said on the EQpatcher was 1.0.38, and once again I hope that isn't it, but if u know what my problem is, I'd be most appreciative.

well if you patched to live, your screwed. you have to wait until eqemu catches up with live, and there never is a eta,

ok, well is it totaly impsosible at this point? couldn't I uninstall everything, re install the disks, don't do a file check at all, and once they are installed, simply do the host and the eqgame.exe, and it would work? please let me know, thank you

No. Because you need a patched version, but a specific version of the patch, not the patch thats available on Sony's servers any longer. Asking for where you can download the appropriate patch is warez and against the forum rules. You just have to wait until 0.6.2 is released and servers begin transitioning.
