Exclamation Alternative to Perl 5.10.0.1007? What/Is this a GOOD setup for a new Server?

Perl 5.10.0.1007 can;t be found, i have Perl 5.10.1.1007 ...
will that work with mysql 5.0.82, eqemu-rev2098-bots and peqdatabase-rev2100 and peqquest-rev2092 ????

*******I am using THIS guide.*****

can i get some pointers? i just reformated my entire windows installation to provide a fresh
environment for the new server... i'm using the guide mentioned before... any pointers???? is this a proper and
adequete setup?

I heard that that only Perl 5.10.0.1007 works ... is this true? I could really use some guidance,
I'm not doing something right here... If i can get this to work I will make a new up to date
guide for the entire community
... Just need some pointers myself. =P I haven't started the
install of anything yet, wanted to ask here first.

This is also very important! If you have another version of perl currently installed start at step 1. If you don't, start at step 5 and go on from there.

1.Backup any customizations that you need to.
2.Uninstall it via control panel.
3.Delete the c:\perl directory and empty it from the recycle bin.
4.REBOOT!
5.Install Perl 5.10.0.1007
Perl 5.10.0.1007 is what we'll use.
