O..K.. I'm sorry, but I couldnt find this.. Please help me!

I feel like a total newb askin this

. I looked through the forums and didnt find it but if its here just give me the link and i'll check it out. Whenever I try to join a game with db2 it starts me back at the starting screen and sometimes gives me the error 1017. I'd really appreciate the help.
