Default Is it just me???

Every time I open the everquest desktop shortcut it opens the patcher, goes into the main everquest patch server, replaces the eqhost.txt so I have to re copy, paste. Is there any way to get rid of the patcher and strait to eq?

Check to make sure that you made a shortcut to eqgame.exe and not everquest.exe. It won't patch if you have it set up correctly... Look at the guide again to make sure that everything else is correct.
