Default Ok well im a major noob...

i am setting up my server and when i do the worlddebug.exe is says incorrect version and my question is how to i up date to 5.3dr3 i downloaded the 5.3 files but i dont know what to do with them please help me im a moron.

No offense, but if you read well enough to get to this forum (which is the correct forum), then you probably saw the tutorials and howto's forum, and this is where you will find STEP-BY-STEP guides to setting up your server.. So, moron no, lazy yes....

yea iv got the server set up but my worlddebug.exe says incorrct version as it says 5.1 at top. i read and says that i need to change to 5.3 so i downloaded the files but have no clue what to do with them.

You must not be reading the correct guide.. why are you trying to run worlddebug.exe in cmd..? You should run world.exe .....There should be zone.exe, and world.exe in the eqemu folder, if you are going deeper into the folder structure then you are not doing it right... Go to the main page http://www.eqemulator.net and go to files, and download the binaries from there. What you probably have is source, which means you would need to compile everything. One you have the binaries, you will unzip it and see that you now have a world.exe and zone.exe to run... Hope this helps..

k thanks il try it btw was using shawns guide in the guides section run your own 5.0 server
