Default Faulty DB?

I'm trying to add npcs in game using #spawn and #npcspawn create and #npcspawn add...Some how, when i first do these commands, nothing happens and it's as if i've never entered the npc.

However, after many many attempts in IEQ and EQAdmin, i've managed to get 3 or 4 new mobs in the zone (the nexus in this case), but getting these 3 or 4 mobs has taken me quite a bit of time.

On this computer, i'm running world.exe, 5 zones, and minilogin. There are no other errors, everything runs smoothly. I'm not sure if i need to have the db open while i add the npcs, but i do have the mysql admin open.

If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong or if it's a buggy db/server code, i'd appreciate help. Thanks.

Not sure what could be causing the problem but one thing that will help those with more of a clue than me would be what version of the server code you are running. You can obtain this by looking at the first line of display in your windows for zone.exe instances and world.exe.

Also, in your zone.exe window for the zone in question, are there any errors returned or does the command return an error when you run it within the game?

Just some additional thoughts that might help people help ya..
