Default Any way to get the old EQ sky back?

The new sky is seriously bugged, and it would be great to just avoid all its problems and go back to the old one, instead of waiting for Sony to fix it (yeah right).

Unfortunatly, whatever tinkering i've done has failed. The sky.s3d file doesn't seem to be accessed anymore, and I can't find any other files except those under the /resounces/ folder that affects the sky. Is there some way to revert back to the old sky? Can EQemu tell clients to use the old sky?

When the DX9 client first went live, SOE specifically said that it would have the same sky for all zones for a while. Yeah, I don't think the client references that sky file anymore, you can set #zsky to any value you want, and it seems to be the same sky always.

The good news is, on EQLive I was in Lavastorm the other day, and it seems to have its old red sky back. But, that's on a newer patch than Emu can run.

And they STILL have yet to put colored fog back in.

the worst part is the new clipping plane.

instead of just cutting off the polys at a certain distance, theres like fog in the distance, or if clipping is above 10% you can see forever, and it creates like as much lag as it fix's .
