Default cannot do this at all ( lol
i am not extremely computer litarite. i have followed all instructions exactly but seem to be running the live server patch each time. i do not understand how to get into the emulated one, be on an emulated server, or what to use to login to it. please help me! i am so terribly confused (

you have to change your eqhost.txt

it should say only

[LoginServer]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994

What do I down load? From where? And to where? And how do i set it up?
