Default Patching problem

Ok, i know i am not supposed to patch to the last version couse it doesn't let u conect to EQEmu nemore.
But how do i patch to the point that EQEmu stills works and most server support?
The tutorial link in the main page wasn't working.
SO can anyone help me?

There is no link or walkthrough showing you how to do that. To even speak of it here is not allowed. Sorry, I know this is bad news for you.

oh, ok. i guess distribution of the older clients is illegal. FINE, i will use my free month online.
I'll keep checking here for a new realease *hopes*.

Yep..I wouldnt use EMU as my first choice to play EQ. Maybe you can do that later when you are up to speed but still EMU servers are down from time to time and you can also lose your characters. EMU is not the same as live. Its a voluteer effort with little or no Money behind it.
