Eq free for 21 days and EQEmu

I'm one of those ppl who walked away from EQLive a year ago (played on EQEmu for awhile as well) but moved on because the servers were still growing and everyone who hosted servers were learning to make them better. Now with the free 21 day "welcome back" period, I find myself saying, "why did i walk away". I understand that it has been since the 9/13 patch since ppl could use EQEmu unless they didn't patch but what can I do to help get a new working version of EQEmu?

Do I need to donate? I would be more than happy to. I would love to help in speeding up the process. I really enjoyed the community when I was on it and would love to see it continue. Whatever I can do to help, please count me in.
