THERE WAS A NEW PATCH TODAY! (5/30/02). IT WILL BRAKE EQEMU AND EQW!

I'm sure, much like myself... there are many many people that realized this when it was just too late (not everyone backs everything up all the time).

It's just a waiting game to see how quickly the eqemu dev team can find the problems and fix them.

I'm glad I am on a very nice cable connection (I have clocked it at about 1.2mbit, but it can go above that) and repatching only takes a tiny bit. Just in case I ever break the emu, but I don't play on the live servers so it's not that much of a problem.

Yeh, I remember the times I spent on a cable connection.. however I am not happy when something like this comes along, being on a simple copper-line 56k connection. I missed 2 releases of eqemu while on a businesstrip... came back, and now all is going crazy..I need to rewrite about 83 .qst files (with many many npc ids in each!DOH!) so I'll be a bit busy :eek:
