Default General Server Changes(PvP based)

I've got my server up and running well.

There are a few changes that I'd like to add, but I'm having trouble locating where to make the changes at.

My server is PvP based.

Changes I'd like to make:
+all players names be red
+fix bug where melle skills like bash, kick, slam, backstab work in PvP.
Currently, these skills do not work against other players unless you /duel.

Thank you.

In variables table, if you set ServerType = 1, it does not show names in red? I hadn't tried, since PVPers scare me.

I did notice on a clean PEQ database setup, that those variable fields are empty. I've been copying over the tables from a backup so I wouldn't have to repopulate all of them. Also, the zones table (zones, 5) is empty. This could probably explain why most people are having issues setting up their servers.

Thats not an issue its called not reading everything, before starting to install the software, there are a number of posts around the forums explaining on how to do it.

I was just adding how it's possible that if someone were to install the latest database, then it could be a possibility for the issues they're having.

In the latest database released from PEQ, the tables are empty. Check yourself if you don't believe me. And yes, this is even after you use their SQL files to clean/backup and then install it. Cavedude's installer automatically populates these fields. That's why it's there. If you update to PEQ's latest, it's not there. I did say clean install didn't I?

Yeah I know that they are empty, what I am saying is that the changelog gives you how to create them, and the wiki mentions what you can put into them.

Hehe. Well not everyone reads the wikki or does a search. :p Hence why we get sooo many topics on it.

I think someone should update the installation instructions and mention this. I'll do it when I get the next chance if someone hasn't done so already.
