Mysql error...

C:\peq_db>mysql -u root -p
Enter password: ******
ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

to start with i was letting CMD load the "source load_system.sql" then after awhile it says that couldnt connect to mysql server so i retry and when i try to get back in to MYSQL with cmd . the error shows up not sure if it the connection or mysql...

any ideas?

Ensure that your MySQL server is running. Go to the Process tab under the Windows Task Manager and look for mysql.
