server setup question

i'm trying to set up a server, and ive downloaded / installed all it said to and that worked out all fine and dandy the issue i have is i'm at the server account regestation page where you pick the name and what not, and ive got no idea what to put in the activation key box, it gives a link to the page where it shows your your accounts and theres a # next the them i thought that may be the # but i guess not. so any help? thanks.

a message when i hit "create account" it takes me to the same page and in red letters it says "INVALID ACTIVATION KEY" or did you mean the whole registration process is no longer needed? thank you for your patience
