Default Build 1090 and LeaveNakedCorpse

Jibba and myself have both tried updating to the latest code release of 1090 and we both encountered the same problem. It seems that for some reason, the ruleset for LeaveNakedCorpse does NOT work. The LeaveCorpse rule works fine, but if you set both rules to True and assign them both to the default set of 1, it leaves a corpse with all of your gear on it.

This post is mainly for a heads-up to other server admins looking at updating to the latest release. Both of our servers have multiple characters that lost their corpses. Jibba's server is still in beta, so it wasn't a big deal for him. Luckily I made backups of my database when I did the upgrade. I didn't find out what was happening until after the server had been up all day. I considered doing a full inventory roll-back, but finally decided just to copy the character inventories that had reported as losing their corpse. I think I got most of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some that didn't even bother to post on my forums or petition or tell me about it.

Maybe there is a work-around to fix the naked corpse issue, but until then, I will wait for the next version of code and hope it has the fix in it.

Thanks

You have to set CharactereathExpLossLevel as well. Anybody below that level will leave a naked corpse, anybody above leaves a corpse with items. It works fine from what I can see, I have no problem with it.

Woot, that should work! I didn't know you had made those changes. Flexibility is a good thing, I just wasn't aware of it, heh. Thanks cavedude!

I will give that a try very soon. It will be nice to have the latest release working.

Anyone else seen any other noticeable issues with the 1090 release?

That was the only thing that I noticed and I came across the thread that cavedude links to but I haven't tried everything out yet. The newer builds seem to be working great and are a lot more stable than I expected. Keep up the good work and thanks for getting clerification on this one Trev.
