Default Quest Problems

Hi all

I'm experiencing a very strange issue with quests. I have successfully made a server using the PEQ database, and most quests seem to work fine.
However, a few just dont function correctly (it seems to be the more complex quests). For example, the Vahlara quest runs though the dialogue fine, but when i give her an item, she eats it with no response. I have also tried Trevs fine looking armor quest (custom section) an that does the same thing.

I have created a simple hand in and item return quest and that works fine too.
I thought it could be missing perl packages, but i have installed all the reccomended ones (DBI, IO-stringy, DBD-mysql & DBIx-MYSQLsequence)

Any ideas?

Thanks !

I may be wrong, but it sounds like you might have forgot to put your plugins into the eqemu plugins folder. This mistake will cause major problems with quests that try to call upon those plugins, and mine commonly use them.

Thats it!

There is so much to learn about, many thanks for taking time to reply Trev. Oh and also, many thanks for sharing your excellent quest scripts here. It gives starting quest writers a great headstart.

Really appreciate the help.
