EQ freezing up.
My normal computer that plays EQ just fine has died on me, so I decided to load EQ back on my old computer (really old Celeron 800 , 512 ram, 128MB vi8d card, running with ME)
My problem is that EQ will freeze up just after the server select screen as it is about to load the first loading screen. I do not receive any error message, though I hear that sound ME makes when there is one.
I know this computer ran EQ decently well about a 18 months ago. Any ideas on what I can try?( already did a complete reformat and reinstall of everything, 3 times over).
It's going to be a couple weeks till I can aford to get my normal computer replaced, but I would still like to be able play during that time.
I should also note it was able to run WoW about 4 months ago.
