I crash everytime I log into a character

After I create a character on any server, I get the black screen of death saying You have been disconnected. I'm sure there is already a thread somewhere for trouble shooting this, but I couldn't find one.

If anyone could lend me a hand with this that would be amazing, Send me a link to a thread if there is one related to what problems I am having now.
