Default Window opens on non-existing second screen

When I start the program, it opens on another screen, I can't access it because I have nothing else plugged into my laptop. Normally when I'm at work I have dual screens but now I'm home. How do I fix this so the window only opens on my main laptop screen?

I know it's opening up on a second screen because the icon shows on the desktop bar, and when I pick it to minimize I see the screen reduce to the bar, then expand past my screen to off the screen. It appears that it's reading two screens but I only have one show in the windows screen resolution settings. also, I can't move my mouse off the laptop screen. Also, when I right click the minimized window, my only option is to close it.

This only happens with this program, all others divert to my main laptop screen. I'm on windows 7, 64-bit, so any help is greatly appreciated! I want to play this BADLY!!!

Try using ALT+ENTER when your EQ window is selected. That will full screen you and should let you play again. There are also ways to adjust where your window opens up to on you screen, but I forget exactly where that setting is (may even be in your eqclient.ini file).

Talking That Was It! :)

Thanks Trevius! Anyone else having the same problem...listen up:

I opened the "eqclient.ini" file, and scrolled down about one quarter of the way down the list. When you see the following text:

WindowedModeXOffset=-1614

Not sure why it was set to that, but I changed it to the following and it worked!

WindowedModeXOffset=0

Please note that I was unable to save it over the top, but I could save it to the desktop, then replace the entire file for the fix to be complete.

Thanks again Trevius. I would have never figured that out myself. Can't wait to play it after work!
