Default Did I just lose my entire database? I accidentally clicked eqemmu_installer.bat

So depressed because I think I just lost everything. I got into this about two weeks ago (Loved it so far) playing single-player on localhost.

I accidentally, today, clicked eqemmu_installer.bat, instead of start server with login bat, which is what I always click.

In the blink of an eye, it seems everything is gone: all my characters, items, etc.

Unless I'm mistaken, I accidentally wiped my entire server by clicking on that, yes? If not, can anyone please tell me a way to restore it?

I just tested this - it does in fact wipe your DB.

An unfortunate lesson in DB management!

How long has it been running? i.e. how many changes do you really need to recover?

Assuming you're using Akka's installer here's how you can easily make backups: eqemu_server.pl > database > backup_database

Just in case you should go ahead and check in C:\eqemu_installer_files\backups (or wherever you installed) to make sure you didn't already have a backup.
