Default DoT's???

Hi there..1st post for me heh. I was just wondering something about DoTs.

I don't know if this is just me but whenever I dot something, it only does the amount of damage on impact if any damage at all. Is there a fix to this? Or has this been a known issue? If you think about it, without DoTs, the main use of a Druid and mostly a Necro are lost. There are also Shamans who use DoTs a good amount of the time.

If there is a known fix to this, please post it here. That way everyone who is having my problem can see the solution. If the dev team knows about this and is working on it, don't stress it to much and have fun with your development!

Well, that's just my 2cp worth.

I've been playing a shaman for awhile, and I've noticed that DoT's has a few bugs. The issue that you've had that the DoT only does the initial damage and nothing more ocurred when I got my 24 DoT, but before that, the dots never vanished from a mob I've cast it on, not until they died anyways

Maybe you could do some testing, give us which class you used, which dots you cast, and the effect on the mobs, whether you were able to inflict any damage, or damage on impact, or DOT. Also indicate what software is running on the server. This information is listed in the login menu (4.4DR3 or 4.3 or whatever).

Post detailed information of your misadventure in the Bug Reports forum.

I had the same trouble. I did to fixed the DoTs using Kayiodo's Spell Editor. Chose a spell, then put a 2 in the Buff formula text box instead of the current value (1 or 7 in most cases). That fixed the DoTs for me! However, it seem that the DoT never wears off, except when it

This is more of a bug report than a support question. Could someone post their findings in Bug Reports?
