Default Extreme Problem

I'm not sure if this problem has been pointed out, but anyway, I have recently formatted my computer and I put EverQuest back onto my computer ran the patch update, then extracted EQEmu the ran that patch updater but it wouldn't run it said, "Operation Terminated" Now, I'm running Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3. I also downloaded MDAC 2.7 SP3 also and installed it, but still the patcher isn't working. So currently i'm unable to log on to EQEmu..

Any suggestions?

Default need some help with your "emu patcher"

ok, i think u might possably be the developer of this....

OK, I need some help. With my EQEmu patcher, and or my EQW... First the patcher...When it autodownloads the files, its fine up untill the point where it goes "cant load eqmain.dll I went to everquestlive.com looked in the knowledge base. It said "take some files (they listed them) out of the EQ folder, then the EQ live patcher will patch them, so i did, but i saved the files i took out, i did it, and my runtime error was back, so i put em in, took away that error. Now it just says to me : "cant load eqmain.dll. THats the only error i have up to now. No firewalls are active, and i have windows updates installed. Ok 2. Now onto EQw...I click it, and it says Start EQ. but when i do it just goes "smackw32.dll cannot be found. THen gives me the "cant load eqmain.dll error with the EQW. I need to know specifically how to fix all of this. Because i put 40 dollars into this. If im sounding like i dont know what im doing...hehe i really dont so just bare with me, if you could help me, that would be so nice of you to help me bro....I patched EQ live to full EQ live standards, because i un-installed eq once, then Patched the EMU,(after re-installation) still didnt work, just said starting eq................ loaded up and didnt start. So then i re-uninstalled EQ. Only installed it up to Luclin. B/c crythen told me be was running only up to luclin. So that didnt work, I have the Everquest gold edition. Crythen said possably that might be the problem. It might be i havnt a clue. But if you could maybe forward this to the person who made the emulator and see whats going on with it would be most helpful. My windows XP firewall is not active, so plz help me if you could thanks alot.

Are you always trying to play using EQW? If so, try without it. It shouldn't give the same errors. I use gold edition up to PoP. It works.

EQW 2.55 does not work. 2.52 works, but it's not available on the site. If you need help figuring out how to get eqgame to load without EQLive patching, there are plenty of posts explaining just that.

Also, which runtime error do you get? I can solve two of them.
