Changes in EQEmu compared to SOE/Verant EQ

Im just wondering if there is any difference between the offical EQ servers and the EQ Emu servers ? Like is leveling any easier, is the PvP system different, ect. ? Im kinda hopeing that the EXP is a lil easier to get and easier to lvl, because EQ is very time consuming so getting 50+ would take some time .... But thats all up to the EQ Emu team im goin to play either way ... Just curious if there are any differences

Besides not paying of course
