about server, maps and mobs...

hey all!!

sorry for my questions...
but when I download the server program...

do I need to download maps and compile them or
do I have to make my own and compile them?
or do I have to compile at all??

is it just finished to run like usual ??

also the same with mobs and other add-ons...

If you download the server PROGRAM (aka binaries)
- Intall Everquest
- Create mySQL EQ DB
- Extract EQEmu files in a folder
- Config EQEmu
- Play~

If you download the server SOURCE
- Compile EQEmu source
- Intall Everquest
- Create mySQL EQ DB
- Config EQEmu
- Play~

cause I mean... create mysql eq db...

or does it have it's own mysql thingie coming with it?

After mySQL is installed, you will need to create/source a DB, mySQL isnt installed with a DB.

As Naruto said, best is to read Jezebell Tutorial, explaning again and again how well work is time consuming~
