Default Just got me thinking

I read another post here and it got me thinking. Many games are flawed. Most games, including EQ have your character start at level 1. You fight rather pathetic creatures (ie. Large rat) and gain experience. Well, your character probably starts out at age 12-19, depending on the game. A 12 year old should be able to kill a large rat much earlier than s/he starts on his/her quest. The child should get no experience from a mere rat. Maybe characters should start at about level 7 and fighting level 7 mobs, instead of gnoll pups and large rats.
Dual Wielding is also another example (EQ specific). logically, shouldn't everyone be able to hold two weapons? I understand that most characters would logically, not equip two weapons (for example, a pure caster). Maybe an agility penalty for dual wielding weapons would be more appropriate. Just an idea.

Would be nice, but we couldn't make that a emulator possibility, the dual wield check is by your class client side
