What do i need to download to get started. I just want to play eq on eqemu's most populated server as if it was the real version. What should i download and how do i install it?

If all you want to do is play on emulated servers, then do the following.


1) Go into your everquest directory (defaulted to C:\Program Files\Everquest\) and locate the file eqhost.txt and open it with a text editor (default notepad)


2) Change your eqhost to the following:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}


3) Boot up Everquest using "EQW" or "eqgame.exe patchme"

4) Log into EQ using your eqemu.net forum login;password

5) You know the rest
