error 1017

Hello all-

Have not been here in awile,i was very sick.But i have this 1017 error comming up after i select my server.Everything runs fine up to that point .
I am running win2k and no other programs like antivirus when i try to enter the world.another question i have-and bear with me im not great with computers -im an artist heh,is that when i try to add the world adduser eqemu 200 command it has an error.I have only 1 harddrive and its label is drive c:.And my everquest dir is C:\programfiles\everquest.And another thing the eqemu is in my everquest directory. Whenever i am at the command prompt and i type in C:\>c:\programfiles\everquest and hit enter it says the system cannot find the path specified --? someone please help me i just want to play on my own server thank for the help,please dont flame me hehe

Heyas again-

thanks for the reply-the only prob im having is putting in the world adduser eqemu eqemu 200.When im in dos and i type dir i see my everquest directory ,but it says invalid directory whenever i try to bring it up.Oh well im prob just retarted heh thxs anyway
