I just want to know what is added to a server/database with perl inabled? Meaning using the default.pl and what ever else is used when you download perl and the suggested files for the server setup tutorial, does this add quests to a newly setup server say...runing newest kunark db? What does it do "Out a the box" =)
Just trying to learn more.

Adding Perl quest functionality to EQEmu only adds the functionality itself. It doesn't actually add any quests, it just makes the ability active; in order to have quests on your server, you've got to write them yourself.
