Default Help, I'm new/error log included

hi im new and i followed all the player guide steps after i installed the game. here is my error log. Thanks for any help in advance.

Try dropping your desktop res to 1024 x 768 and then try playing. it constantly crashed to the desktop at 1920 x 1080 for me, then i dropped the resolution down to 10x7 and it worked. Once you're in game you can change the res of the game - if you want, keep it windowed, change the desktop res back to 16x10 and then up the res of the game to whatever you want.

now it is timing out when i try to log in , i tried changing the host txt file to Host=64.251.21.39:5998 but that isnt working, im running on a home wireless lan with a netgear router, i opened it all the way up its still not working.

Are you using MiniLogin or the public loginserver?

minilogin port needs to be 5999, otherwise you should replace the IP address to eqemulator.net.

Also make sure you open port 5998(or 5999 if minilogin) and forward the correct ports if you are hosting a server (5998~5999, 9000, and 7000~7005 by defualt)
