Just get the new google toobar. it has a built in pop-up stopper and works GREAT! not to mention its FREEWARE.
Also, nice try with the link.. do you think i'm stupid? you dont think i'm going to notice the number at the end of the URL? you're trying to MAKE MONEY by posting links with your number at the end so you can try to get a commission each time someone buys it.
DONT POST LINKS LIKE THAT AGAIN.

I love google. I would love to have a popup stopper. So I tried the toolbar... Does it work implicitly? I don't see an option for pop up blocking. Does it allow you to configure which sites *can* do popups?

That seems like a good one I also found a new browser window (lot better than explorer and netscape), it has a built in pop-up stopper, very nice also. Here is the link: http://download.com.com/3000-2356-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1
NoAds is fairly good also, not sure the link for that one.

ZAPro does a pretty good job of blocking most ads for me.

Avant Browser is the link I posted up there. I don't think I can find a better pop-up stopper than Avant, plus the layout is pretty cool I think. I used to run NoAds, trashed that though once I found Avant. I highly recommend it, VERY VERY small file size, I don't think I will ever go back to Explorer.

Hehe, I don't worry about popups, I don't visit many sites with popups, and I usually just kill them anyways.

Well if that was not your member number at the end of the URL then you got scammed yourself.
Who sent you the link?
99.99999999999999999999999999% of the time that urls end in something.html?uid=1001, or something like that (with a number at the end) its a referring ID so the company knows who to send the comissions to..
this site is no different.. look at this.. this is the signup page for webmasters (or anyone) to sign up for this scam.
http://www.historykillcash.com/index.asp
Always try to strip numbers off the end of URLS.
