Times Five BETA (Custom/Semi-Legit)
I suppose I should make a post about it now that it is getting attention.
This server features an experience like no other. It has a level cap of 250, spells that scale based on statistics, pets that scale based on statistics and class, melee damage increase based on stats, and content up to level 250.

**FEATURES & MECHANICS**
Spells & Pets
* Spell Damage scales based on the level of the spell, the level of the caster casting the spell, and INT.
* Spell Healing scales based on the level of the spell, the level of the caster casting the spell, and WIS.
* Spell Haste will soon be based on AGI, and as a result, AGI is only found on custom items.
* Pets scale on stats.
Melee
* Melee scales to STR and DEX. That is a total damage plus this bonus from these stats.
* Custom Mitigation formula. If you had enough stats, you could completely mitigate damage to 1. It is also level dependant.
Content
* Custom content up to 250. There are custom augmentations to offset the lack of loot from NPCs past 70 or so. Some zones are tweaked, check a list of the zones in our starting zone to see which zones are.
* Epics at level one. This may be upsetting to some of the forum community, as they do not like to see epics on orcs let alone vendors. Fear not, this is only to give you a starting advantage to get a feel for the server. The real fun starts at higher levels.
* Custom exp formula, see above.
* Buff Bot and Skillsetter in starting zone, see my comment in epics.
* More features being added daily!
Other
* SoF and Titanium support out of the box. No spellfiles are needed!
* #help for commands in-game. Since this is semi-legit, you do not summon your gear but get a spellscriber that way, amongst other things, like #zone and #goto.

Haha, awesome.
Well, if anyone knows if EQEmu can have 2 servers on 1 host, I might be able to help out in the interim. I already run my own server, but have plenty of resources for another (and own my own hosting ) I've just never tried to run 2 EQEmu worlds out the same public IP.

It won't on the same public IP, i'd rather give TessEQ2 a home though :P
If you are serious about the offer though i'll let Drakkie know, otherwise someone else is likely going to take up the project.

Give it some time, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to get X5 going again, maybe start with relatively the same DB in terms of layout. GM's and staffing I will probably be getting a few people together to make sure we have a constant stream of people to report to if and when there are problems. I will prolly need donations to get it up and started as far as possibly looking for a bigger bandwith and possibly a new box considering the amount of traffic it will build. Give it some time and she'll be back up and running

TessEQ2 had a home.
If you guys got it covered, then that's cool. I won't take down my own server, so I guess it's a moot point if EQEmu requires port 9000 and cannot be otherwise configured to something else.

Some know I have had the newer version of this server up and running, but I do need the formulas yet, the .diff file does not merge with the file system I have on my server folder and have tried many ways to do it manually. Seeing as DB versions are not going to be far off can you zip the changed files perhaps as a whole starting from Branch and Trunk so that there's no messing aroudn with file structures?

I seriously need these files girls whenever you can get a hold of me I will gladly send some cash, i've got players who want to be on but the diff files don't patch correctly in the server subfolders. Also if you'd like to discuss server possibilities at all as well i'm fully willing, but seeing as yall are prolly busy doing things in RL which are perfectly fine I just need a little bit of your time.

As this is in beta stage will all the toons be deleted when it comes out of beta and if so any idea when thats gonna happen ?

Nope. They won't be deleted. The only thing that will happen is the stat cap will be raised to 10000 instead of 2000. There will be bonuses like the ones currently implemented every 2000 points you earn. (ex; 2000 sta = flymode, 2000 cha = pet bonuses, etc.)
While I am posting, I should also mention we have a forum coming up soon. I will make another post in this thread when it is up and running.
