Default Sever Connection Problems

So I have another issue im currently tackling, my server is not connecting correctly. Here is what i get when i run world:

C:\Documents and Settings\Jonathan>cd c:\eqemu

C:\EqEmu>world
[Debug] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_debug_world_1064.log
[Debug] [WORLD__INIT] Loading server configuration..
Unable to load 'eqemu_config.xml': Error reading end tag.
[Debug] [WORLD__INIT_ERR] Loading server configuration failed.

I took out the eqemu_config.xml.full file but i still get the same thing.

here is my eqemu_config.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0">
<server>
<world>
<shortname>Bitfe</shortname>
<longname>Back In Time Forever (Under Construction) PEQ Custom Legit</longname>

address>192.168.1.101</address
localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress

<!-- Loginserver information. -->
<loginserver>
<host>eqemulator.net</host>
<port>5998</port>
<account></account>
<password></password>
</loginserver>

<!-- Sets the shared key used by zone/launcher to connect to world -->
<key>some long random string</key>

<!-- Enable and set the port for the HTTP service. -->
<http port="9080" enabled="true" mimefile="mime.types" />
</world>

<!-- Database configuration, replaces db.ini. -->
<database>
<host>localhost</host>
<port>3306</port>
<username>root</username>
<password>*******</password>
<db>peq</db>
</database>
</server>

also i would like to know the code to be able to lock my server. any help with these 2 issues would be great.

If you have cut and pasted your config file and the above ACTUALY shows what your config file is, then your problem is probably here:
Quote:
address>192.168.1.101</address
localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress
it should look like this....

<address>192.168.1.101</address>
<localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress>

To add the Server lock unlock code is this:

<!-- Server status. Default is unlocked -->
<!-- <locked/> -->
<unlocked/>

The above shows the server UNLOCKED

Thios would be locked:

<!-- Server status. Default is unlocked -->
<locked/>
<! <unlocked/> -->

make sure this goes in between

<world>

</world>

Also, if your going to run a public server you will need to add your account name and password in this part of the code.

<!-- Loginserver information. -->
<loginserver>
<host>eqemulator.net</host>
<port>5998</port>
<account>Your Server account Name on EMU Login Server</account>
<password>Your Server Password on Emu Login Server</password>
</loginserver>

I know, you may have left it out of your post for obvious reasons, I just wanted to be sure you were aware of it.

That part is actually optional. By default, it will assume eqemulator.net:5998, but you don't need your account name & password. I'm sure that if you have been setup as a preferred server you do, but under normal circumstances, you don't.
