What's in your eqhost.txt ? What exactly happens after you enter your userid and password ? Blank screen ? Error message ?

Post the contents of the logs\dbg.txt from your EQ directory.

Also, what client version are you running, Titanium, SoF, SoD, UF? What servers have you tried to connect to (if only a couple)? Are you playing from your home where you own your own modem and router, or are you trying to play from work or school or someone else's network that might be using a proxy?

Try turning off Windows firewall and any other firewalls you may have running. Also, you might want to check your router config and make sure you don't have port 5999 being forwarded at all.
