Anyone got insane...

Anyone got insane loading time and lag?? I dont have a great comp ( I dont even have a good comp lol) but it usually takes me around 5minutes to load from server to characters screen in live EQ, in the emu it takes me around 20MINUTES!! When I get in doing stuff like /itemsearch or any command takes at least 10seconds before doing anything, and when I zone I crash to server everytime ( and think about it, waiting half an hour everytime I wanna explore somewhere sux donkey ass) and when I play also when I stay in a zone and just move around, every 30-45secs my lag meter goes to like 40% and then comes back:(

Running the game on a pII 350mhz 320mb of SDRAM with a voodoo3 2000 ( yeah I know I need to get a new comp hehe) and on cable modem. I usually dont get lag in live eq except when in luclin in open zones and I play full screen.

If anyone could help me I dont know what to do to be able to at least not crash when zoning, the rest can be tolerable although very frustrating at times.

most recent EQ patch (patched the dx dll) made me go a LOT slower and it takes longer to load. maby thats it :(
