Keep LDing after 5 seconds after joing any server...

I have been on for 2 days now and all of a sudden, out of nowhere i keep going LD like 5 seconds after i join the server. Any suggestions?

My roommate doesnt have this problem and have have the same computer and we are hooked to the same internet...

Try joining another server.

I have this problem as well and I've tried 3 separate computers here. Of course I can only play on the 5.5 servers, so it's probably just bugs that aren't worked out in my case. Not sure about yours. Try the old "lower clip plane". That used to always kill my connection back when I was playing EQ Live.

Do you have dx9 installed? SOE went to dx9 as of the 18th patch.

Yeppo. They all have DX9b and are all patched up with latest drivers and w2k service packs. I can't play for more than a couple minutes on any server. I get the black screen with "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED"

Man that message used to really piss me off when I payed for this stupid game... hehe

LOL yeah me too.. Though I dont know then, what your problem is, other than ISP, it could be bugs not worked out yet... I guess, sit tight and wait and see what the devs have for us, as the newest version is a quick fix for the newest patches, and Im sure they are aware of many bugs that will only get fixed with grinding away at code hehe..
