Default Can't find right post for 1017, help me please
I know there are a bunch of posts out there on the 1017, but I can't find the right one, and I've tried searching for a lot. Anywho, I use Windows XP and whenever I try to log on to the another server, it never works, and get 1017. Is it because maybe I use dial up or something? Please, if you can help me in anyway, post it!

1017 = WindowsXP Firewall, Version (Patch), Incorrect eqhost.txt, Faulty setup of server files.

Those are the main reasons, and there are plenty of posts with help on them.
